Home Health Aide Program

Home Health Aides provide "hands on" patient care, following a written plan developed by a Registered Nurse and approved by your physician. Our work with the patient and their family is always performed with compassion, empathy, and confidentiality.
  • Bathing: bed bath, partial bath, tub or shower
  • Linen change for occupied or unoccupied bed
  • Oral Hygiene
  • Hair, skin & nail care
  • Assistance with active and inactive range of motion
  • Assistance with non-sterile dressings & soaks
  • Meal preparation
  • Assistance with elimination: bedpan, commode or bathroom assistance
  • Taking and recording temperature, pulse, respiration and blood pressure
  • Measuring and recording intake and output
  • Performing and recording results of urine testing for sugar and acetone
  • Assessing, describing and recording patient's level of consciousness
  • Observing and reporting changes in patient's condition
  • Colostomy care of emptying and cleaning bag
  • Decubitus care if no medications are involved
  • Monitoring oxygen use
  • Light housekeeping and laundry
