| Patients
who may benefit from home rehabilitation services generally have
suffered a recent illness, injury, or surgery involving the nerves,
bones, or muscles such as stroke, head injury, brain tumor, multiple
sclerosis, arthritis, Parkinson's Disease, fracture, joint replacement,
and ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease).
Our
Goal is to work with the patient and family to promote
maximum independence through demonstration, instruction, and evaluation
of necessary skills. In home care, the therapist involves the patient
and family in the recovery. A treatment plan is established to be
practiced between visits, and for use after discharge from home
care. |
